There are buss services between Sirdal and Stavanger, within Sirdal and between Sirdal and Flekkefjord. These are run by two different operators.
Sirdalsruta (run by Tide)
Summer:
Daily from 25/6 to 28/8 – 2011
Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 2/9 – 25/9 – 2011
This buss runs from Stavanger via Sandne, Ålgård, Byrkjedalstunet, Sirdal and Øygardsstøl to Lysebotn in the morning and back again in the afternoon. This makes it possible for passengers to hike to Kjerag or to explore the Lysebotn area.

Winter:
During the winter months there is a bus offering transport to Sirdal for alpine skiers, cross country skier or others who wish to visit Sirdal.
From Stavanger: The bus takes skiers to Sirdal from Stavanger via Sandnes and Ålgård. During the season it runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. In addition it runs every day during the schools winter and Easter holidays.
From Egersund: The bus takes skiers to Sirdal from Egersund via Tonstadon Saturdays and during the schools winter and Easter holidays. This bus only runs if there are enough pre bookings. To make your booking please phone +47 40 40 33 76.
